Eric represents individuals and companies involved in litigation and pre-litigation matters. He has tried dozens of jury and non-jury cases including personal injury claims, business disputes, contract disputes, divorces and workers’ compensation claims. Eric has called Chattanooga his home since September 1995. Eric obtained his undergraduate degree at Lambuth College and law degree at the University of Memphis. After graduating in 1995, Eric joined the Chattanooga law firm of Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, PLLC as an associate. Shortly thereafter, Eric and other members of the Leitner firm started the law firm or Lawrence, Lawrence & Gerbitz. In 2001, Eric began to focus on complex litigation and formed the law firm of Lewis & Oliver. Eric left Lewis & Oliver in 2019 to join Patrick, Beard, Schulman & Jacoway, where his practice focus is still complex litigation. In addition to practicing law, Eric is active in the community, serving in leadership roles in civic and bar organizations.
