Jeremy M. Cothern
Associate

Jeremy focuses on civil and criminal litigation, including trial practice and appeals for businesses, individuals, and government entities. He represents clients in complicated, high stakes matters in state and federal courts and in administrative courts. The majority of his practice is devoted to business, commercial and construction litigation, criminal defense, divorce and other domestic litigation, government and internal investigations, personal injury, trust and estate litigation, and will contests. He has tried a number of jury and bench trials to verdict and has prepared briefs for and presented oral argument to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Tennessee Supreme Court, and the Tennessee Court of Appeals on many occasions.

Jeremy lives in North Chattanooga with his wife, Laura, and their children. Laura is currently a nursing anesthesia student at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. They attend St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in downtown Chattanooga.
